Oramai da un paio di mesi uno dei titoli più popolari degli ultimi anni, Minecraft, è approdato anche su Nintendo Switch. La cosa ha ovviamente fatto la felicità di moltissimi appassionati, i quali hanno potuto godere per la prima volta di una versione portatile del gioco al pari delle versioni per console fisse, ma nonostante la bontà del porting, qualcosa non era stato pienamente convincente, ovvero la risoluzione del gioco quando lo si utilizzava su TV.
Minecraft per Switch, a detta degli sviluppatori, avrebbe potuto funzionare ad una risoluzione di 1080p su TV, eppure essa era stata limitata a soli 720p per un problema legato alla visualizzazione dell’hub, problema che fortunatamente sembra essere stato risolto. Nell’ultimo patch note rilasciato, infatti, i developers hanno dichiarato che finalmente il gioco girerà a 1080p di risoluzione quando lo si gioca su TV, ed ovviamente a 720p se si gioca in modalità portatile (dato che questa è la massima risoluzione dello schermo di Switch). Certamente una bella sorpresa per i fans, ma questo non è tutto, infatti vi riportiamo qua di seguito gli aggiornamenti apportati dall’ultima patch:

- Fix for being unable to unlock “Sniper Duel”.
- Fix for being unable to unlock “Camouflage”.
- Fix for MCCE #5183 – Player can kill a tamed Parrot with PvP disabled.
- Fix for MCCE #5062 – Farmer Villagers only plant one seed after harvesting a whole crop of seeds from a field.
- Fix for MCCE #4103 – Time spent on the Pause menu when under water counts towards the “Free Diver” trophy.
- Fix for MCCE #3112 – When trying to throw food, Villagers throw it in the wrong direction.
- Fix for MCCE #5219 – Two types of Bone Block with different pictures.
- Fix for MCCE #4989 – Zombie Villager Spawn eggs are the wrong colour.
- Fix for MCCE #5261 – Flower hitbox is displaced.
- Fix for MCCE #4897 – Beds explode when TNT Explodes is disabled.
- Fix for MCCE #4954 – Mobs can’t move with a block above them.
- Fix for MCCE #3010 – Constructing an End portal in a certain method can lead to the End Portal being created next to the portal frame.
- Fix for MCCE #5292 – Only regular Skeletons spawning in the Nether.
- Fix for MCCE #5151 & MCCE #5208 – Item frames don’t show the custom name of their items.
Vi ricordiamo che questo update non è ancora il tanto atteso aggiornamento rinominato “Better together“, il quale aggiungerà invece la possibilità di giocare in cross-play con PC ed Xbox One, oltre ad una veste grafica completamente rinnovata e decisamente più appetibile.
